All major makes and models are listed, however if you cannot find the correct part for your vehicle or are unsure of the correct part, you can;

  • Check the dimensions of your strut against the ones listed on the site for your vehicle
  • Check the OEM number on your strut and cross reference with the OEM numbers listed for your vehicle on our online catalogue
  • Call our sales team on 01604 496624 during office hours and we will be happy to help.
  • Fill in the replacement car gas strut form byclicking here. And we will reply by e-mail

2. How to order your replacement car gas struts

When you have selected the correct strut, simply add the quantity to the basket and checkout. We advise that both struts are replaced for reasons of safety and longevity of the new struts.

Complete the guest account form with your personal and payment details and submit your order.

3. Your replacement struts have arrived, so how do you fit them.

Firstly you need to remove the original gas struts from your vehicle. The majority of car struts are connected to the vehicle using ball and socket joints.

To remove the original struts, use a screw driver to lift the metal clip and then pull the strut away from the ball stud

To fit the new struts, if they have plastic ball joints, simply fit as the originals, by lifting the metal clip and pushing the strut onto the stud. Make sure the metal clip is then firmly in position to prevent the gas strut coming away from the stud during operation.

To fit new struts with metal ball joints, firstly you will need to remove the metal safety clip.

Now push the metal cup over the stud on the car (this may require some pressure). When the stud is firmly in the socket, replace the metal safety clip.
